The Hubs offered some inspiration but that stuff is off limits (so he’s made it very clear!) Something about my blog not being anonymous, whatevs.
So here are some random thoughts that hopefully inspire you to say SOMETHING! Comment, flame, laugh at, share your own, you know, whatever you’re comfortable with.
1. My daughter goes to her first speech therapy session today. Am I going to opening a Pandora’s box? This girl sees and heres EVERYTHING. Though I’d really just like her to tell me what she wants for dinner.
2. Speaking of dinner, maybe she can teach her dad to tell what he wants too. Oh, thats a bad idea? Sounds better than me making a dinner I’ve been thinking about all day and have him not eat it.
3. I signed up for a online blogging workshop. I won’t say with whom b/c I could be wrong about this whole thing but its not looking promising. We’re supposed to write a small piece and then comment or critique two other writers. NO ONE (but me) has done the assignment. And yes, I was always the kid with my hand up, knowing the answers, in class.
****Had to make an edit here: I’m a complete IDIOT, apparently there is the secret forum and I have to have a secret password to sign in. Now that I’ve done that I can’t help but wondering what else I’m missing.
4. While I’m sad to see Katie go (I loved how precocious she was…do people still use that word?), I’ve been waiting for Andrew to go home for WEEKS. I loved him at first but now I can’t stand to hear his flat vowels and lack of imagination. (Sorry, I’m an AI addict, regardless of how bad it is!)
5. Larry, I’m not surprised to hear you’re getting divorced. Is anyone? No I was surprised to hear you were married! I have to wonder about the prenup.
6. I can watch baseball all day. I don’t care if the guys are adjusting their cups at the plate. Gotta grab their junk before throwing the next pitch. This doesn’t mean I want to see my boss do the same thing. Dude you haven’t even played SOFTBALL in over 10 years. You gotta break the habit!
7. Spent a couple of hours looking for stuff to liven up my dining room last night. I may or may not have mentioned I’m cheap and would like to think a little creative. I came home with so much crap. I’m just as lost as I was before I went shopping.
8. Why the hell did I think 13 would be a good idea again? Anyone as bored with this as I am?
9.. Been reading Ann Lamont’s Bird by Bird. I don’t have aspirations to be a published writer, don’t worry, no delusions of grandeur. But crap, that woman can make writing about writing interesting. LOVE HER!
10. I got a Cuisinart as a wedding gift almost 5 years ago. I’ve used it more in the past 2 weeks than in all the years previously. Maybe I can write a whole post about how wonderful this frustrating kitchen tool is. Or maybe not.
11. GO RANGERS!
12. Why do I need to yawn when others are yawning? Yeah yeah, shoulda mentioned that one when Apolo Ono was in the news but strangely enough, he didn’t do that to me. You?
13. If I can get 13 different readers to comment on this PURE CRAP, I will NEVER write one of these again. Oh come on, ask one of YOUR readers to come over here and tell me to shut up. I’m fine with that!
