How is your weekend? I don’t think there’s anything good in the fridge unless you want to grill the steaks that is supposed to be tonight’s dinner. And booze? um, yeah, there are a lot of bottles of tequila. Don’t ask.
Welcome any one from yesterdays Bloggy Boot camp in SF. Thanks for coming by. I don’t intend to provide any VALUE today….just gotta write this stuff down where there is a public record.
To do:
Menu for the week and grocery shop.
Don’t forget cat food and diapers.
Oh, wait. This is a blog to do list, lemme start over.
1.Write the Summer Santa post from Life begins at 30 *BTW, I’ve read hers and I loved it.
2.Write two travel oriented posts, SF and NC. Both will make me a blubbering mess but I think they may entertain , inform and maybe pull your heartstrings, just a little.
3. Write a ???-part post about the boot camp.
a. To include reviews about the space (like, um, maybe some OMG but mostly not)
b. some of the attendees that sort of pushed my mental buttons (cold as a fish was one, French whore describes the scent of another, drop dead gorgeous describes quite a few )
c conference as a whole
d. presenters, and finally
e. some words to those who intend to attend one of these in the future…yes, I may go again.
And yes, I didn’t sleep well. It was like twitter was streaming in my brain and to misquote Ted Rubin, “it’s like a river, it just keeps on flowing.”
Stay tuned friends.
I have those days, and nights. I keep hoping someone will construct a dam somewhere along the line.
You are so right… those thoughts running through my head on those sleepless nights are just like a river of tweets! So dreadful and yet somehow you just can't stop. Love your blog, btw. You definitely have found a very natural voice. Go with it!
haha, that was just a random post! Summer santa post is coming up when I stop being so lazy. You've got a lot of writing to do!
Your blog made me chuckle! Even if you do have horrible taste in music… great blog!
"It was like Twitter streaming in my brain."
Exactly.
I look forward to your posts- your descriptions are delectable.
