It’s a crisp Saturday morning, perfect for garage saleing! Â Now if I only I could get away from mine!
Day started at about 5:45am! Â Damn sprinklers, going to have to have a talking to the Hubs about that one. Â I laid in bed for a good 10 minutes thinking about how to set up my garage sale on wet grass or how to get my stuff down my long driveway w/ my cars in the way. Â Turns out grass dries pretty fast when its been hot out. Â So no biggie.
By 7 I had already shot myself in the foot by arguing with the Hubs. Â Apparently we have other things we could be doing today more important than clearing away all the crap I cleaned out the garage last weekend AND it can’t be done without me.
So here I sit, on my comfy seat (b/c I’ve learned my lesson, I am NOT sitting on my stoop for 3 hours EVER again!), chatting with the neighbors, happily giving as much away as I sell.
OMG, the chinese woman across the street (who grows all sorts of interesting things in her front yard) just came out and hocked a HUGE lugey! Â Wow, that was loud!
Oh, and don’t tell the Hubs: Â there is a SUPER cute hipster in the neighborhood…3 doors down (hush, hush…he’s totally my type AND I think he’s straight) We TOTALLY clicked.
So, if you’re in the neighborhood, I could use a latte.
Sounds like a good time all around!
Sounds like a nice neighborhood now that you have a hipster to check out. LOL.

Good for you! We really need to get rid of some more stuff…just not today.
I like the garage sales. When we lived in Colorado for a while, more than 10 years ago, we bought basically everything we needed on garage sale, and before moving back to Winterland, we sold all the crap in the same way >:)
I know that sitting on the stoop for three hours can be hard on the butt, so, as a true frined, I will give your butt a good message. No thanks necessary. Just being friendly.
