Obviously, if I HAD a best friend {sigh!}, I’d go to the hospital with a bunch of grapes and do all that I’m-here-for-you thing!
Then I’d give him/her such a bollocking (that’s ‘Brit-speak’ for a telling-off) for having the damned accident in the first place! Seemples {queetsch}!
And secretly I would be relieved that I hadn’t lent him/her MY car that day!
Then I’d probably buy myself some fish and chips on the way home … with fried onion rings and pickled onions.
And a coke
What? It’s a hypothetical (had to look up the spelling of that one!) situation, for God’s sake!!!

that’s why i gave up on this series. i was all up for it, ready to go, then i started reading the prompts at the end of the list. i think we should draft a MUCH more… interesting 30 days writing project. we’d be SO much better at it…

I, too, would rush to the hospital and grab my friends hospital gown, pulling them up and slapping their face and yelling, “Come on, pull yourself together. Come on, wake up. You have to tell me I was right in the argument.” Always have to come out on top.
