Oh honey, once you start, it won’t stop. This bed? Been done over 4 or 5 times. Finally got smart, ripped out a messy tree, put down some SERIOUS weed cloth and its only sprinkler zone. And I’m DONE! DONE! DONE!
Are you asking if I took part in the transformation? YES I DID! I moved all of those damn rocks by the bucket full myself! For the pavers I was support staff which meant delivering sand and pavers to the artists, my husband all the while keeping us fed and hydrated and keeping the toddler out of trouble. So yeah, I could say I did something.
Oh and I picked those plants as well as placed them, thank ya very much.
And the magic answer is AUTOMATED SPRINKLERS…for this stuff, not indoor plants. We won’t talk of such horrid things here (that is my lack of ability to care for those too!)
Get me a sitter and my husband a chef and I’m there! This tiny plot has been such a challenge but now that I’ve got it just as I’ve always wanted it, I’m ready to take on the world!
I like the ammo dump just outside the door. When you are chasing the hubs out of the house you have a great supply of rocks to throw after him. Good idea!
Girlfriend, if I’m the second person home, I worry about hitting the pretty car in front of me! So glad we did that paving. It added almost 2 (usable) feet to our driveway.
Look at you, crafty lady!! It looks fantastic…

Why yes it is. After a month of househunting, we drove up in front of it and I turned to Adonis and said: buy me this house. Yup, love at first site!
