But its not happening today!
Does anyone have some toothpicks to hold my eyelids open? This coffee ain’t doing it! Yes, the Mads had her clock WAY off and was up and playing at 2 this morning. She thought it would be a great idea to head butt me, repeatedly, while I was trying to snuggle her back to sleep. I even “popped” her on the rear to tell her I meant business and she just chuckled. THE KID CHUCKLED!
She is her daddy’s daughter, I tell you!
So I really have to post some pics (Wednesay, probably!) of what we accomplished this weekend and to show off the Hubs woodworking skills. He rebuilt our outdoor basement door last weekend and then got it stained, attached and completed the ‘enclosure.’ It’s gorgeous.
I, yes, MOI, cleaned out our garage. Okay, I didn’t move the Hubs motorcycle, but I did the rest and its is a HUGE improvement. I can walk in there without vines tickling my neck. Yeah, some smartypants installed skylights IN A GARAGE!  Said garage was built w/out sealing the siding so EVERYTHING grows or crawls in between the slats. Its lovely, really!
AND I reworked my front yard’s landscaping! Do you have any idea how hard it is to dig up 15 year old sod grown in CLAY soil!?!?!?!?! Yes, it was a bitch and is only about 75% done. Okay, MY part is 75% done. The Hubs will have to rework the sprinklers and hopefully he’ll stop watering the damn weeds growing in the ivy hedge HINT HINT HINT HINT!
Oh, and we went to breakfast at Denny’s. The same Denny’s we went to the day before my Mads was born (we hadn’t been back.) It was special for that reason alone, b/c dude! their coffee SUCKS!
So yeah, I’ve been doing stuff and nope, not facing my demons…b/c yes, the demons make for good posts (thank you JenJen for all your inspiration!). Yeah, yeah, I’ll get there.

Wow, you are super woman! I just ate too much and partied hard this weekend. Kudos to you for your accomplishments!
my weekend – i sorta forgot – mainly because i was either sleeping or drunk. i did watch my friend's twins. 3.5 year old boys. also? my own boys were home. so i had 4 kids under 5. And? They fucking listened to me. Yah. I totally rock like that.
Happy Day After Mother's Day. Like we need a holiday to be reminded that we rock. pshaw.
I was struggling to get my large ass out of bed this morning to get to work on time… bus duty at 7:15 a.m. sucks. Big time. Mother's Day found me grocery shopping, doing dishes and laundry, and cooking/cleaning… Every day is a holiday around here, I tell you! NOT.
Wow, digging up 15-yer-old clay. You need to take a break. I thought mothers were supposed to have breakfast in bed on Mother's Day weekend.

Manfriend and I watched movies and ate and stayed in bed (wink wink). Oh, got some VitD too, made it out into the sun. We BBQ'd. It counts.

Laundry, laundry and more laundry. I mixed it up by working in the yard and cleaning the rest of the house. I'm so glad Mother's Day is over.
My weekend was nice. Drinking a case of beer and riding on the boat. Etc.
