Thursday 13, Autumn awesomeness, mailing it in.

Nothing new here peeps.

Seriously…the title was a give away.

You guys could write this in your sleep….but I’m doing it so you don’t have to.  And I’m calling “I’m on estrogen, I can mail it in as long as I’m taking shots in the ass….I will also mail it in when I’m at any particularly neurotic phase of pregnancy, post pregnancy, pre-house-for-sale, post-house-for-sale….

Crap, I just realized I could write a list of all the times to expect me to feed you some half assed post.  So forget what you just read, in case I need those again.

Okay, so where was I?

Oops, horrible hostessing skills.  So sorry….the cleaning lady (OMG, I have a frickin’ cleaning lady!  Damn why can’t I afford her twice a week and a chef?) ANYWHOOSIT…she comes tomorrow and its been a couple of weeks so the place is bit of a mess.  BUT there are a couple of six packs of Fat Weasel, some Dos Equis and maybe some hard cider in the fridge.

How do you feel about greek yogurt?  Cuz I stocked up on that last night too.

Fine, on with the list!

13 reasons why I love me some Fall.

13.  Pumpkin lattes!

12.  Grilled cheese sandwiches and cream of tomato soup.

11.  Anything and everything made with apples!

10.  Same for squash, sweet potatoes, pecans! Not all together, mind you.

9.   It’s finally cool enough to finish outdoor projects, like weeding, transplanting over grown stuff, cutting back the trumpet vine.

8.  Hiking….without sunscreen running into your eyes or worrying about dying from heat exhaustion.

7.  Oh yeah, I’ll be busting out Christmas music any day now…Holla Momma!

6.  Oktoberfest!

5.  Finally summer tv is wrapping up and my favorite shows are coming back (bite me, I like TV!!!!)

4.  Bye bye mandatory pedicures, hello BOOTS!

3.  Cool enough to bake again!

2.  As much as vacations and days off are welcomed and anticipated (would have been nice to have one of those this summer, dammit), I look forward to the regularity of fall, the rhythm of days.

1.  Finally, SNUGGLE weather!

Got something to add?  Did I miss anything?  If any of you say Cosby sweaters, I’m coming after you.

Your list covers it except the fall colors and evening fire pits with neighbors. Fall is my favorite. Nothing too extreme and perfect for running.
