Saturday again?

Oh sure, you working peeps, Saturday is another day to sleep in, maybe take the kids to the pool, RELAX.  I’m guessing you haven’t been living through a self-inflicted, do-it-yourself kitchen remodel and your sitter closed for the month.

So yeah, Saturdays here, just another day of work while keeping my child from ingesting household cleaner and keeping my husband’s stomach full.

Well this weekend there is change in the air.

Nana and Papa (the inlaws) think we should go out of town.  We’re thinking Santa Cruz.  Boardwalk, beach, and a fun little mexican restaurant I like (and lets not forget the cute shoe boutique next door…don’t which I like better, the salsa or the sandals?!?!?!!?!)

Before you get jealous, you land locked folks, it’s still Northern California in the summer.  It could be 60 or 70 at the coast, not much more.  So no, there won’t be any bikini baring or embarrassing tan lines.

We may or may not be staying overnight.  And please cross your fingers that I don’t make a drunken fool of myself in front of the ol MIL.  I’ve  come damn close twice this week and trying not to make it a triple header.
