Does it have to end?

Today was the first weekend where we had super nice weather, enough to actually get some work done outside.  We rebuilt an 8 ft section of fence and discovered there was another 8 ft section that we didn’t have to replace.  Got some weeding and mulching done and some general clean up.

I love when I get to spend the whole day outside.

Do I really have to go back to work tomorrow?

You know what else happens tomorrow?  We find out whether or not our offer on the beige house gets accepted.  Oh yeah, forgot to mention that.  We put in an offer yesterday morning and the sellers are not accepting offers after tomorrow.

We wrote an offer for the asking price and were told that as of yesterday morning no other offers had been submitted.   There was an open house this weekend so who knows what kind of traffic they got.

After working on my house today, I am more hesitant to leave.  I love my big back yard and all of my plants, and fruit trees and hardscapes.  (Hubs and I spent ALL summer and most of the last fall putting in 3 patios, a retaining wall, a new gazebo and new driveway.)  The peach and plum trees are blooming and are so pretty this time of year.

I told Hubs, I’d be happy to have the new beige house (he concedes that it needs a new kitchen, whew, something for me to work on!)  but I’d be relieved if we didn’t get it.

How was your weekend?

I'm very jealous of your good weather. We still have snow on the ground! At least it was sunny :)

I'm glad you have a kitchen to work on :D

I had a weekend ALL TO MYSELF. That's not meant to yell (the all caps) it's meant to proclaim my joy. Whew.
