A very pleasant surprise

So a couple of weeks ago I mentioned that I had this weird appointment with a OBGYN regarding a sterilization procedure. Lasted about 7 minutes, and the results are IRREVERSIBLE!  People that know me know that I ADORE kids.  Sterilization just seemed wrong.

Now of course the procedure is also useful to correct some other fertility issues, which was why we did it. (Counterintuitive, I know).

Well so my hubs took me to the hospital today and from the moment he parked the car (SWEET SPOT!) it went very well.  The receptionist was efficient and informative.  The processing nurses were SOOO nice and attentive. To top it off, the speed talking doctor SLOOOOOOWED down, explained everything he was doing and took very good care of me.

Thank you Alta Bates for the exceptional care and attention.  You restored my faith in the kindness of people.

I hope that this experience wasn’t a figment of my valium clouded imagination.
