Purple Explosion, my first iPPP

Spring has sprung and puked up purple all over my yard.

Kidding! I love purple.

A little here.

A little there.

These have already exploded. And there are more where these came from, holy floral overload.

And a vegetable for good measure….. ***Post post note: this stuff I’m told are BEETS! GAH How did you guys not know that?

Like THAT’s ever gonna get eaten. Even the raccoons aren’t interested.

What does spring look like in your neck of the woods?  Oh and yeah, me! My first iPhone Photo Phun.  Phun, ha. Could someone please teach me how to publish from my phone? Sheesh!

Dude, chard is delicious! Cut out the stalks and saute in oil with sliced garlic and a little salt!

Not that much fun at our house, our tulips haven’t even come up yet. Well, one did but either a squirrel or a little girl snapped it off.

This will totally inspire you: http://www.amazon.com/Rhubarb-M-H-Van-Keuren/dp/1475073186/ref=sr_1_2?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1335385387&sr=1-2

It’s a rhubarb pie recipe! Well, actually it’s a book my husband just published, but it has a rhubarb pie recipe in it. Thanks for letting me brag. Love your purple.

    Is that chard?
    (Huh.)

Despite my lack of knowledge regarding greens, I love your purple, lady.

    The yard is beautiful.
    Happy spring!

    I love all the purple.

Last year, I had one beet pop up in my garden. No idea how because I didn’t plant it. I gave it to my neighbor who likes beets. She’s a little strange.

My daughter loves purple with a passion that almost allows her to watch Barney, but at 8 she can’t quite bring herself to do it.

I should show her your pix, she will love them.
